Congratulations to our Leyton Wicketz CC U11 team on a fantastic Indoor League campaign!
After a winter of hard work, commitment and plenty of Saturday morning training sessions, our U11 team has finished the Indoor League as champions — an outstanding achievement for the players, coaches, parents and everyone involved with the team. The team showed great determination and team spirit throughout the competition, winning the majority of their matches and finishing the campaign with an impressive 100+ points. Their performances throughout the winter have been a testament to the effort and enthusiasm they have shown both in training and on match days.
Outstanding Individual Performances
A special mention goes to two players who made significant contributions to the team's success.Ibraheem had an exceptional campaign with the bat, scoring an impressive 153 runs across the league. His consistent performances and ability to score important runs played a key part in the team's success.With the ball, Hadi was equally impressive, taking an excellent 8 wickets during the competition. His wicket-taking performances provided the team with crucial breakthroughs throughout the league.A huge congratulations to both Ibraheem and Hadi on their outstanding individual achievements!
👏 A Team Effort
While the players deserve enormous credit for their performances, this achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of the coaching team.Our coaches gave up their Saturday mornings throughout the winter to train, support and develop the players. Their hard work, patience and commitment have helped the children improve their cricketing skills while, most importantly, enjoying the game and learning the value of teamwork.We would also like to thank team manager Ashraf for his tremendous effort and support throughout the campaign, helping everything run smoothly both on and off the field.And, of course, a big thank you to all the parents and families for their continued support, encouragement and commitment. Getting the players to training and matches throughout the winter is a team effort in itself, and your support is greatly appreciated.
🏏 Looking Ahead to Outdoor Cricke
Winning the Indoor League is a fantastic achievement, but the cricket doesn't stop here! We are now looking forward to getting everyone back outdoors for our Saturday training sessions. It will be a great opportunity for the players to build on what they have learned during the winter, continue developing their skills and prepare for the outdoor season.We would love to see all our U11 players back on the field, ready for another exciting season of cricket.Well done once again to all our Leyton Wicketz CC U11 players, coaches, team manager Ashraf and parents. You have all played an important part in this fantastic achievement.
